Africa Women in Farming Organisation, AWIFO

The farming industry plays a significant role in the livelihood of women in Africa and of those globally dispersed.

Several barriers exist for women farmers which prevent them from gaining equal access to trading opportunities and essential funding and start-up loans, which together stifle their progress and ability to compete with larger players in the market.

AWIFO seeks to bridge the gap and provide a platform for enthusiastic women farmers to access investment and international trading partners, and gain the overdue recognition and reward for their vast contributions.
